• What does PurpAnd mean?
  PurpAnd is a combination of the nickname of our cat, Pearl, and my name, Andy. We like to call her Purp, but I couldn’t tell you why.
  
• Are you aware that purp refers to marijuana?
  I wasn’t until I searched urbandictionary.com to make sure I didn’t pick a website name that was obscene or especially nasty. Seems like you can’t get away from everything.
  
• Do you have any other pets?
  Nope.
  
• Why do you write this blog?
  I started it as a way to vent, or communicate, or whatever you want to call it. It’s a mix of personal therapy and exercising my social side, while providing some entertainment.
• How do you get your cat to pose?
  I don’t, usually. She is as curious as they come and likes to be silly so I just make sure my camera is nearby at all times.
• Why isn’t your site a kick-ass, fancy piece of technological marvel?
  Until I have the time and skills to create something with that sort of creative magnitude, I plan on focusing on the content more than the layout. However, I do rather like the current layout.
• How many readers/visitors do you have?
  As of January 2009, I think I’m up to about an average of 20 unique visitors per day.
• Do you read your email?
