nurse

Hellllllooooo Nurse! My wife is officially a Registered Nurse in the state of California! She found her name on the Board of Nurses website today and nearly couldn’t believe it.

She took the exam on Tuesday and felt like it didn’t go well. But, she must have done something right because she received her nurses license number today.

For those of you who are close to us, you know how hard she has worked for this. Your support has been wonderful and now, if you ever have nursing needs, you know who to call. If you don’t know us all that well, then I appreciate you reading this blog at least. It’s nice to have this forum to talk about stuff.

I’ve never been more proud of my wife than I am today. She has worked through a lot to get to where she is and it’s a perfect example of how hard work and determination can work wonders. The next step is for her to finish her Master’s work in 2009 and start looking for a job (tough assignment). Once December rolls around, she’ll be an RN with a Master’s in Nursing. Big timer! I’m so proud!

The wifey is still on cloud nine, except it’s the first day of school today. Nice thing is, she can stroll in as a newly minted nurse.

Nothing nicer for a patient than a minty-fresh nurse.

Does the reverse also work? Nothing mintier for a nurse than a nice, fresh patient?
