Well this weekend sucked. Over the past three days I’ve spent nearly 20 hours writing commercial appraisal reports. (I’ll pause for your pity)
Instead of spending some time in Tahoe (which I could have) or taking it easy and having a BBQ (which I probably could have), I’ve been tucked away behind my computer. But oh well, it’s what I gotta do and what I deserve for playing professor last week. When I have weekends like this it makes me sad, but I know it’s not always like this. I need to remember, as my friend says, ‘all work and no play makes Andy a grumpy boy.’
The weekend wasn’t completely shot however. I did manage to get a good run in on Saturday morning, heading to the ocean and back. And today I ran up to Alamo Square to reminisce about D.J. Tanner. I’m really spoiled in that I live in San Francisco and can do things like that.
This week I have five reports going out (that’s a lot) and will be in a much better mood when next weekend comes. Especially cuz my sister is coming down from Seattle to rave it up with me at Tiesto on Saturday. (That’s right!) I may get trampled, I may color my face and body with glow-in-the-dark paint, and I may not get any sleep, but seeing Tiesto is something I’ve wanted to do for years and I’m finally getting my chance. I just hope I see at least one person older than me.
