PurpAnd

I think the title is pretty self-explanatory, today marks one year in existence for PurpAnd. I’m pretty excited and pleased because when I first started blogging I wondered what I could possibly talk about a few times a week over the long term. Most of it has been pretty random, much of it has been personal, and occasionally I have ventured into deeper meaning type stuff.

To celebrate this milestone I thought I would give something away to you, my loyal readers, but because things have been a little hectic in my life over the past week, I didn’t get around to it (sorry). And also because it’s hard times in the economy, I didn’t feel it was right for me to be sending gifts out.

Instead, I would just like to go over some of my favorite posts from the past year.

My first ever blog post was written on May 22, 2008. It briefly describes me and then continues with a story about a man peeing on the street. It finishes with a picture of my cat Pearl (who we call Purp), setting the tone for future articles at PurpAnd.com.

100 Things About Me is just that. It’s a pretty standard list found at many blogs and it helps you understand who I am.
